Pedal Assist System (PAS)

Pedal assist can be activated by selecting a PAS level using the PAS selector buttons. The higher the PAS level, the more power is delivered with each pedal stroke, and the easier it is to ride. There is also an option to select no pedal assistance (PAS level 0) and use the throttle only or ride without assistance from the motor by pedaling.

Bike arrived as described and fast! Less than an hour after starting to opening the box I had the bike assembled and on the road. I was slightly disappointed at first because the assist was way too powerful. As the bike came delivered I had assist levels of 0-5. 0 is no power assist, 1 is 50%, and it continues up to 5 which is 96%. When assist is set to 0-5, at level 1 the bike cruised at 15mph which was just too fast for me. After some researching I found a manual for the LCD display and programming instructions. I was able to change from assist setting of 0-5 to 0-9. That allowed me to lower the low assistance numbers for (1) to 20% which yield cruise speeds of 8mph. It’s now very nice and I’m still able to get the higher speeds and higher assistance if I want by just raising the assist level. 4/5 stars for comfort because as delivered bike cruised to fast.
This ebike works great out of the box, but you also have the option to reprogram the controller for custom speed/power settings. Up to 9 different power levels make it easy to control speed for various riding conditions and locations. Very easy to fold for storage or transport and not too heavy. I've used it for several months now and it has worked flawlessly. Well worth the price - would not hesitate to purchase again!
